Went to Kohl's in Cottage Grove, MN around 3 p.m. this afternoon.

Went to the checkout and saw one woman with a large purchase. There was two cashier's. One cashier had a woman that picked the wrong shoe. That slowed things down as cashier had to get someone to find the right pair of shoes.

Not the cashiers fault. The other senior cashier with the large purchase to ring up was making small talk with the customer. She was talking, pausing slowly folding clothes, talking pausing... on and on.

When I got in line, I was the only person waiting in line.

When I finally was able to check out, there were about seven people waiting. I saw that two just left disgusted.

The cashier was so busy chitchatting that the woman left a comforter and she didn't even notice.

It's great that cashiers are friendly but not at the cost of poor customer service.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Worker to be given feedback regarding her job performance..

Location: 7990 Hardwood Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016, USA

Wow! So you think it's poor customer service for cashiers to speak and carry on conversations with customers while they are doing their job?

What a sad, pitiful life you must live. I'm sure you would be the first to raise h%ll if the cashier didn't speak to you while ringing up your order. Guess what? You're not "special!" God forbid the cashiers actually speak to their customers and get to know them!

How about you do everyone a favor {{REDACTED}}.

That way no one has to speak to you. *SMH*

To: Anonymous Handy 2018: How about you take your own advice and shut up! This is an review site for everybody.

It's for customers and employees. Clearly you need too educated yourself more that are always two side too the story. There no need for nasty and mean people into this world. That goes for the mean and nasty customers or the mean and nasty employees.

Were better than that! We need too have everybody too treat everybody with respect! Here's an story too help you understand that better. I am an employee at an retail location.

I am always nice and helpful too people, too the customers and too the employees. While i was ringing up someone's purchases. Everything was fine, until we had an customer with an coupon. I am going too say, i am always like people saving money with their coupons.

The customer had an expired coupon onto something the customer had bought. So while i apologized for them about their coupon, "I'm so sorry about the coupon." "It is expired." While i was double checking onto the couple too make sure if it was or wasn't expired. The coupon expired the few days before. The customer was going from nice too mean.

The customer, rudely said,"Jerk." I am always understanding people get mad and angry about the coupons that are expired. So I am letting this comment come and go. Too be respectful. I called the manager too the front of the store.

The manager talked too the customer about the expired coupons for the store. It does not end there. This customer said, "Okay. I'm going too be back with corporate." Then this customer said, "Let's see if these people into this company have an job by tomorrow.

" The other customers, and the managers and employees, we are into shock what we are hearing. The customer had left and came back with large water gallons from another store. The customer opened them, one by one. The customer poured them onto the other employees and managers including me.

At this point, I am mad and angry, because i am soaked with water too, from head too toe. I'm thinking too myself, "No. Did this just happened too me while i am working?" Now, when i have had enough, i mean i have enough. And when i am pushed i mean i am pushed.

After this, I am like, "Okay. Now you're able too leave." "And you could take you and your attitude with you." The customer: "Excuse me?" "I am not going anywhere until i am having you serve me until i am satisfied.". Me I am like, "Okay. You want too play stupid people playing stupid games and stupid prizes?" "How about playing getting knocking the stupid out of them by the cops!" "You don't." "You will lose." "I'm not playing with you, you better leave." We had too call the cops.

The customer was leaving the store, while stealing things from the registers. Luckily, before the customer was leaving, the other customers from the outside saw what had happen too the inside.

The other customers blocked the customer that was stealing. The cops showed up at the right place at the right time.

To: Anonymous Department. I am agreeing with you and all of the others.

Stupid entitled customers always play stupid games and winning stupid prizes. I am an employee at an retail location. While i was working an shift, i was going through the adds. I was making sure the items were onto the prices, making sure that they were right ones.

This happened is the department where we had all of the candles for the holidays. A customer asked me what the deals or the prices were for the candles. I showed the customer the displays that we had into the store. The candles were buy two get, get two free, with an purchase of an stocking stuffer.

With all of that, it should of took off five dollars. While the customer came up too the register too pay. Everything was going okay and smoothly until the customer started too become rude and arrogant. While the cashier was ringing her up.

At the end of her total, she wanted us too reminded her about the deal because she asked us too remind her about the deal. The customer had the four candles. The customer forgot too do the deal with stocking stuffer. I apologized.

I said, "I'm sorry. But the deal too the candles includes the purchase of the stocking stuffer. The customer said rude, "No. No.

No." "You people are going too do this." "I am able too speak too the manager too store. Someone knows what i am talking about." While i am going too get the manager too the store. The customer said rude, "Let's go." "Umm. I am into an hurry." This customer snapped had the nerve too snap fingers at me.

While i was going too the floral department too get the store manager was at. It was about two or three minutes from the both departments. The customer said rude, "What are you doing?" You're not doing your job, are you?" "Why do the always have entitled employees?" I am thinking too myself. The only one who is entitled is this customer.

An customer from *** Keep in mind, i am always able too go out of the way for others. I am always nice and sweet. And i am always doing my job. This customer did know i was going too get her the manager.

Me, I am like, sweet and nice, "Ma'am, here's the manager." The customer, rude, "Took forever." Remind you the time too get too the front department too the floral department was about two or three minutes. While the manager too the store explained the same deals and prices too the customer.

The customer said rude, "Here' you can keep your candles." The customer spit onto the candles and into the stocking stuffers. We had too get rid of the candles and stocking stuffers for the holidays.

To: Anonymous Departments. I agree.

. I have had my own experience too when i was working into an retail company. We have had different policies and different rules. if people don't want their items, they can return them, as long as they are not expired onto the date.

We give the item or items they had purchased for 30 days. They can get store credit or cash, depending onto the date, that is onto their receipts for their purchases. This customer came too the front end desk. Most of the customer understood that.

The next customer, did not. While i was working by the front end desk. I am like, nice and sweet, "Hi..." Before I am able too say anything else, this customer said, rude, "I need an manager." The manager came from the back too the front of the office and said, sweet and nice, "Hi. I am an manager." This customer said rude, "I need too do an refund for this item.

The item is not s not good." The manager said, "Do you have your receipt?" This customer said rude, "Yes." This customer had it past the date that we are able too return it or refund it. The manager explained the policy and the rules too this customer. I am also going too add, that the item this customer bought, look like it was already used. It looked like it was half into there, and half out of there.

That's another reason why we declined too take it back too the store. The item this customer bought was shampoo. Too give you and idea where i worked at, it was an grocery store. So we do not do testers or we do not do samples onto those products.

This customer had the nerve too get mad and angry, because we caught this customer, red handed into an lie. This customer had the nerve too slam and pour the rest of the shampoo that was into the bottle onto the front desk, side ways, aiming it at the manager and me, and we got it onto the shirts and pants. The manager said, "Bye-Bye." This customer said rude and arrogantly, "...You." "You're not an real employee' but you're an real... " The manager said, "Are you serious?" I am not going too say what this customer said.

It was so mean and nasty. I We are able too take things and let things go at this company. But when we are having enough, we are having enough. This manager chased this customer from the inside too the outside of the store.

We got this customer license plate number. This customer has been banned and arrested.

To: Anonymous Handy So much hate and arrogance. Entitled people need too be confronted and called out for who they are.

All that they are doing is spreading hate and arrogance.

Clearly it's sad nobody taught you and educated you, no the customers are not always right! I'm starting too think and see you're one of them.
