Been using our West Wichita Kohls for 30 years. I know the workers by name and manager.
I am a MVC of Kohls. Kohls has limited stock in the store so MOST OF US ORDER ONLINE! I have had great customer service for this 30 years until yesterday! I was treated like a homeless person and told NO RETURNS due to some new COMPANY POLICY LINKED TO TRE (THE RETAIL ACITIVY REPORT AND RETAIL EQUATION).
kohls has a NEW POLICY THEY ENACTED WHERE THEY LIMIT YOUR NUMBER OF RETURNS NOW! BUYERS BEWARE! I have a funeral to attend and had to order two sizes of pants but NOW I WAS TOLD I CANNOT RETURN FOR 6 MONTHS.
I had never seen this NEW MANAGER before who seemed happy telling me all this! VERY UNHAPPY WITH KOHS AND WILL SHOP ELSEWHERE FOREVER NOW

Preferred solution: My MVC allows returns;but now I am banned from returning. I would like my return capacity returned to me. I spend thousands a year at Kohls too.

Difficult reaching someone
Difficult to reach someone. I have been on the phone for three different numbers, and they keep hanging up on me.

Worst customer service ever
Could not understand the representatives (East Indian) sounded like they were in a boiler room in India somewhere. Tried to change account managers and they didn't have a clue, Could not understand a word they said, would not transfer us to someone who spoke or understood English. We needed up closing the account!

The employees in Warwick, RI are wonderful, but it is not fair to them or the customers. I won't go back if this doesn't change.

Verified ReviewerI really don’t wanna give any stars. I am a cardholder for many years. I spent a lot of money in kohls. Recently, I had a $90 Kohl’s cash. And for one day late, they wouldn’t accept it.
I went into the store too cash my Kohls cash of $90 that I spent $400.02 weeks before. I spent another $200 and tried to redeem my cash rewards and because it was one day late they wouldnt accept it.
If I dont get some resolve from them, I will not be shopping in that store and I will cut up my Kohls card immediately.
And their customer service doesnt help at all. They keep sending me to different numbers that I was on the phone for hours.
Will not honor prices
So yesterday at kohls, i usually take my kohls app and scan prices. Most of the time, it might be on sale and it doesnt show, so using their app can tell you the price.
So i set out to go to kohls to get a blanket. I found this sheets set, one big extra soft set, when scanned it says $19.99 and it also happened with 2 blankets, i get to register and i noticed the prices and they were charging me $34 for the sheet set each. So i questioned this and showed them when upc was scanned what price came up. Then the blankets as well, they were scanning as $15 and they were trying to charge me $76 for the one.
I showed them how much it showed me, the price and then for the one blanket they were acting like i was stupid and the price was for a sham. Which at this point they were just making things up. Like all other companies, you can chat in with them but you wont ever get to speak to a live person. They should be made to honor the pricing that the item was scanned for.
They will not. So this is a warning to all kohls customers, their prices might scan one price but they will charge you a different price.
And to top it all off, the lady at the service desk was very rude. A assistant manager came up to check this situation out, and i told her how upset the clerk was because of questioning prices.

Never received merchandise credit card for $8.21

This has been going on for a month. I used a merchandise credit for an online purchase and canceled immediately.
I never got a new merchandise credit card when the order was canceled. I gave them the used card number they asked for and said I would receive a new one to give back my credit for the canceled order. They keep saying I used it.
I never got a new one. They are talking about the one I used for the order, which was canceled; I never got a replacement.

I called because Kohls asked me to review a product I had not received. It turned out I received it 2 days later.
This was very confusing. I never would have called if I had known that I still had one pkg. yet to be delivered. You need to inform people when a pkg.
will be delivered or better yet send one pkg. with everything ordered instead of sending 4 pkgs. for 5 items. Also I couldnt get into my account using my new Capital One card.
The machine said it expired. Not true it doesnt expire until 2027.
It kept the old number from the old Kohls credit card. You need to look into that too.

This is really not a big deal, but I just called Customer service to see if they could help.
I had a safeivh light in my cart Sunday night . It was $99, reduced to $79, I forgot to order that night, the next morning it was up to $99.
I called, was put on hold forever, and was told as a special exception, she would give me a 20% off coupon. Of course it didnt work. I called again, after being on hold forever again, they issued me another 20% coupon.
Do these sales reps know these coupons dont work on certain items? Because of the price increase in 8 hours (I didnt see a expiration date); and the aggravation, I cancelled order.
User's recommendation: Don’t give a coupon as a “special favor” when you know the coupon won’t work. Simple.

Today I was at the Kohls in New Albany, Indiana 47150. I originally went in to look for a vacuum cleaner.
I didn't See the one i wanted so I thought I would look around a bit. There were several tables of shoes that had been marked down. I found a pair of sketchers that had a yellow price ticket on the box that said $29.99. I tried them on and decided I would buy them.
I continued to look around in womens clothing and found a pair of pants I liked and decided to buy. I went to the self check out. The pants scanned at the correct price. I scanned the shoes and they scanned at $34.99.
I waited for assistance but no one came so it timed out. I went to the counter with clerks and explained what happened. She scanned them and they scanned $34.99. She looked at the price tag again.She then typed things on the register/computer.
She told me that they were $34.99 and that i could not have them for the $29.99. She said an employee evidently put the wrong price sticker on it. As she was telling me this she removed the sticker and sat the shoes on the table behind her. I told her to set the pants back on the table if she wasn't going to let me have the shoes for what they were marked on the box.
First of all $5 is nothing for Kohls. $5 wouldn't have broke me either. Its the principle and would have been good customer service had she went with the sale. I could've become a really irrate customer and thrown a fit in front of all the other customers, but thats not me.
That being said, I most definitely give compliments when employees show exlimpery service, but I also can share my negative experiences with other kohls customers. For so many years I have shopped Kohls. Mant times doing the majority of my christmas shoppin there. Im going to reconsider to go shop elsewhere before I come to Kohs.
This isnt the first time I have had issues. Incorrect sale signage left up (they say) and the merchandise rings up hire. Im one very very disappointed customer lately.
I suggest you do better. There are to many other shopping options.

- Stores are starting to look cluttered and crowded now
Preferred solution: Acknowledge that it shouldn't have happened. And whatever you think would be appropriate.

BBB is still working on it
After Christmas I called and requested a refund for the gift cards I never received. After almost 2 months and numerous calls Kohls keeps stating that the refund was submitted and processed, just wait. Just like the gift cards the refund has never materialized.
Customer service just lies and keeps moving the goal post. Save your money and shop elsewhere, shoppers are abandoning the store and it looks like they will be filing for bankruptcy.

I ordered two sets of bras for my daughter and a pack of underwear. They decided to charge me for the $14.99 bras and the $22.00 underwear but failed to send the right product.
I looked online and it says I can go in store to fix the problem but if I wanted to go in store I would have. Just a waste of money and a waste of my time.
