Cancellation of my card and membership

My name is James R. Anger.

I reside at 103 McNeilly Cr., Maryville, TN, 37803. This is my last attempt to insist that you cancel my Kohl's membership and credit card. I have asked repeatedly for you to follow through with my request, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Here is my message to you: If you do not cancel my membership and the credit card you issued without my permission, I will seek legal recourse in the courts.

If you continue to send promotional material and correspondence insisting that I activate the credit card you sent without my permission, you will be hearing from my attorney. I hope this gets your attention for your sake.

Preferred solution: Full cancelation of my membership and termination of the VISA card I did not want and did not order. I want it in writing WITH an apology from the idiots at Kohls!

Gift card at self checkout

I was in a very long line for checkout , Decided to use the self checkout . When I was checking out I grabbed a subway gift card that was right by the checkout I was using .

It would not scan so I asked for help . The person said very rudely that I could not buy that gift card at self check and that I would have to re-enter the long line again to pay for it , this after I already rang up all of my stuff . No manager around at all !!! Not acceptable!

Will not be shopping at Kohls or Sephora at Kohls . It has been getting progressively worse at this store and it was the last straw for me .

Before veterans' day, they advertised 30% discount for veterans. I get to store and no discount because I'm not a member.

That was not in the ad. To me, you're a vet or not.

Your employee disrespected me in front of everyone

I came in to buy some Nike shoes. Your associate told me they were $39.95 so I went to go buy them.

The lady at the register told me that they were $42.99 I told your associate told me they were 3595 she called a manager so her and the manager and disassociate they told me they were 3595 were arguing well they couldnt figure out how much they were. They told me one price yet there is a different price they humiliated me in front of everybody in that store. Finally I got so upset I was so embarrassed that I told them are we arguing over three damn dollars. The cashier was rude.

She said no were not finally five minutes later they decided that they just give it to me for 3999. I will never shop at your store ever again I was so humiliated and embarrassed. I am ready to go get a lawyer thats how humiliated I am someones gotta stop your associates from being so damn rude and embarrassing people in front of everyone in your store.

You are also arguing over $3, and if you cannot afford to pay the $3 extra dollars, then don't buy the shoes. They were not rude.

You caused your own embarrassment by arguing and making a scene. You got what you wanted by behaving like a six-year-old. Trust me they won't miss you, so you not going back is not going to hurt them. You can get a lawyer, but since you were arguing back and making a fool of yourself you will probably lose the case, since your idiotic behavior is what caused the embarrassment in the first place.

Besides if you cannot afford to pay an extra $3 for shoes, how can you afford a lawyer? Now when you kept arguing with them they should have asked you to leave and called the police on you if you did not.

That would be embarrassing, once again YOUR FAULT. I will go to this store knowing I won't run into a nut like yourself.

Jump back! That sound you hear is the stampede of lawyers rushing to take the case of the $3 price discrepancy.

The lawyers initially thought money could be made on the humiliation angle but decided , Nah, it’s Kohl’s , where bad taste goes to die. However, inquiring minds want to know if you told the associate “Bye Elisha!” as you left.

Lousy customer service, service reps that can't speak English, non-responsive idiots failing to follow through with my request

I was issued a Kohls VISA CARD without wanting or requesting one. When I contacted Kohl's I was assured the card would be canceled and the account would be closed!

THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED and I continue to get correspondence urging me to activate the card and open my new Kohl's account! I want my account closed. and the card terminated!! My name is James R.Anger 103 McNeilly Cr.

not to shop at kohlsbought a display musical carousels for my autistic granddaughter who fell in love with this item about a month. I am a disabled senior and have to drive almost 40 miles to the nearest Kohl's.

so for me to take the broken item back isn't going to work out. was hoping Kohl's would send me a new one so I would have in time for Christmas to give to my non-verbal autistic granddaughter. like I said I don't get to the nearest Kohl's only once every few months because of my disability. will shop at Menards or Walmart which are local in my town.

Failure to accomplish what I set out to do.

I called the number provided by Kohl's staff to have my phone number changed in their system. I no longer have a Kohl's charge account, nor do I want one.

I only wanted them to change the phone number in their system to my current number. All their phone numbers are for their charge accounts! That has nothing to do with why I called them.

Apparently, there is no customer service phone number to deal with my request. This seems unprofessional to me.

My daughter purchased a Kohl's gift card for me at Walgreens for Christmas. We could not get the card to work, it would not load onto my app and Kohl's couldn't get it to work either.

I had to work through Walgreens at first and then I had to go to Kohl's. I've been dealing with this since January and the gift card has not been fulfilled. They keep telling me it's coming, in the mail, and each time l deal with Customer Service I have to wait 30 days and then 30 days is gone and there's still no card and they issue a new one through the mail and we start over.

I do not understand why they can't apply the gift card to my app since I purchase everything through the app and Kohl's is able to charge me for everything through the app. I spend thousands of dollars a year at Kohl's using that app and it feels as though Kohl's doesn't give a flip about me at all.

It still took me time to get my card in the mail and when I got it it reminded me that they had deleted the other card and that I could not use it. This really angered me because it made me seem like I was trying to cheat them when it was their fault to begin with!

It turns out that the number on the card is a card that is only issued in Kohl's and they have no idea how it got to Walgreens, but it was activated and it was in their system and it did show how much was on the card I just could never use it. That is their problem, not mine. I'm really frustrated with Kohl's I think they're going in a direction that's not going to be pleasing with most customers. I've noticed the last couple times I've gone in there, the courtesy that they've extended to their customers is not there as it once was.

My husband returned something to Kohl's for me just recently, with the receipt, and one of three pairs of pants was left off the refund. I had had my husband go because I was sick in bed, but I had to get up out of bed and take my receipts and go up there and sit for 3 hours while they went through videotapes because they didn't trust me even though I showed them the receipts. I understand there's a lot of fraud but most fraud is people stealing things off the rack it's not people coming in saying that they didn't get their refund. I used to work retail and the store I worked at always put the customer first.

That's how you build trust and a relationship and loyalty. Kohl's is not doing any of those things anymore. After 3 hours they came back and said well it looks as though one of the pairs of pants didn't get refunded so here, we'll refund it for you now. No apology, no bonus, no "thank you for waiting for so long", no mention of how they appreciate me being a long time customer (since 2002).

It's no wonder most of us go to Amazon now. Their customer service refunds and apologizes and thanks you and make sure you have everything you need.

I've even had them refund after I told them I didn't need it refunded because I was still able to use it even though the product's box, not just the shipping box, was damaged. Kohl's needs to step up its customer service!
