I had 2 recent experiences that have me concerned about Kohl's.

In the first case, I bought a bench for my entry way at home- but it came without assembly instructions. Kohl's could not send me the instructions, so I ended up finding them on the Home Depot website and used Home Depot's instructions to assemble Kohl's product.

In the second case, I bought a coffee make for my office at work- but it died after two days. Kohl's won't accept the return, and they won't allow me to post a product review on their website.

If this is their future, I'm not too optimistic for them

I liked: Very little.

I didn't like: Lack of responsiveness.

I’m sorry for that but you Absolutely can return that coffee maker. With or with out a receipt ..

if you used a credit card they can do a look up on it for the return..

I don’t know where that was but kohls has a 100% hassle free returns policy at every store. It wouldn’t matter if you have used it for a year kohls would exchange or return that coffee maker.
