Kohls - Kohl’s diamond lies
My husband purchased a wedding ring for me Christmas 2017. I took it to a jeweler to have it sized only to find out it was cubic zirconia.
The box it came in states 1/2 carat TW diamond as does all of the other jewelry Kohl’s is selling as real diamonds when they are in fact not! We tried to return and could not due to a lost receipt which I understand. But why is it okay for a department store as big as Kohl’s to advertise and market fake diamonds? Seems like they could let the lost receipt slide when they were able to look up the purchase using the credit card it was purchased with.
The customer service representative was clearly aware that the diamonds were fake and it didn’t seem to bother her one bit.
All she would say was, “without a receipt I can’t help you.” I am appalled at this treatment and the fact that Kohl’s knowingly sells cubic zirconia as real diamonds. I will be raising as much *** as I can wherever I can, so other people don’t have to go through this.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

This is nothing new. Every retailer does this.
Macy's, Zales & other stores as well. It's all in the price as well. If you paid $100 for a diamond wedding ring.....guess what?? It's NOT a real diamond!!!
Jewellers are like car salesmen. They have to sell. People need to do their research & not be ignorant like this.
And who buys a wedding ring at a department store for mostly clothing?? C'mon now.
