made a purchases of 59. got 10.00 coupon.

had to return pants and purchased another style. cust service made 2 transactions which took away my $10 coupon away. Manager of store made the customers behind me move to another register "because we have a problem". She eventually took coupon but I was made to feel I did something wrong.

I think someone in a management postion should have been more cooperative with a Kohls' customer. Your customer service rep should have made one transaction.

The return and the purchase. Otherwise you should state that you cannot return said ppurchase

No holiday shopping at Kohls. Can't risk it.

I never even used the *** coupon and they wanted to give me 10.00 dollars less. Had to speak to a manager to get it fixed.

yeah it is too bad how that works because i had a similar problem and even though you rebuy the replacement item you lose the 10.00 promotion what i ended up doing was going back home and returned all of my items because that is why i spend so much and if i waas going to lose it because of returning some of it i might as well return it all... maybe you should do that but it definately is not worth getting upset about just take everything back and rebuy when they hace the promotio again.

You stated that you exchanged the pants you were bringing back with another style, therefore it was a price difference. If you would have done an even exchange then you wouldn't be on here crying and acting like you're some "victim" of a scam.

Since you weren't doing an even exchange, of course Customer Service had to do two separate transactions! DUH!!!

NO actually the "DUH!!!" should go to your post....because YOU make no sense. There is a way to make it one transaction.

The concept this individual is trying to express is that they could have made it where the coupon would not have been voided. There is a way to do that, and I should know---I work for Kohl's. The problem is that there has been too much abuse "internally" with employees taking advantage of the coupon situation. If the employee does one transaction, they will "appear to be helping out a friend" so they prefer to force the system to cancel the coupon.

And YOU, You need to get some reading comprehension skills before you embarrass yourself on here.

And you think I don't work for Kohl's??? You're barking up the tree of a 13-year veteran of Kohl's.

The complainant clearly stated in his/her post that a pair of pants had to be returned, which was from the receipt where he/she earned Kohl's Cash, therefore dropping it below the $50 threshold and canceling out the Kohl's Cash. The complainant makes no mention whether or not the different style of pants he/she is purchasing would have been an even exchange, therefore avoiding the loss of the Kohl's Cash. If it was not an even exchange, then YOU as a Kohl's employee should know that the pants being returned have to be done as a return transaction and the pants she was purchasing had to be rung up as a purchase.

There are a lot of missing pieces to this person's complaint. And I highly doubt this new system Corporate has implemented with "Maximize Refund" and "Maximize Kohl's Cash" has anything to do with "internal abuse" as you so state.

Learn to think before you spout off a bunch of nonsense go barking up the wrong tree!

If you were happy yourself you would not need to come on here and disturb someone elses freedom of speech, and freedom to vent in whatever way they please. Then to make it worst you go and add a "bully" statement to make the person feel like they don't have a good family.

You probably work there and get off on doing that to the customers because it's the only opportunity in your life where you feel somewhat powerful (lame).

It's not about material stuff, it's about the principal of the matter, and the person expressing or venting how the feel about it. So GET OVER it!!!

you know people are allowed to call out and confront customers that act entitled. And assuming people working there already makes them looking like a bigger a...customer they are like.
