BEEN GOING DOWNHILL FOR YEARS

KOHLS is just terrible now. When you go into there store it is just an awful mess.

Clothes & shoes thrown just anywhere and in the wrong places. It seems they dont keep their stores tidy anymore. If you ask an associate about an item its no use because they are clueless. Their customer service is terrible too.

If you have to return an item they are rude. KOHLS has been going downhill for years because its just no longer enjoyable to shop there. The clothes they sell are junk too.

I wouldnt dare invest in this company by buying stock because its going to be the next SEARS. What a shame.

I receive my monthly reward kohls cash via email and also in the mail.

This same scenario has happened at least 2 times.

I receive it, I try to use it, it says already redeemed which did not happen.

I just got my January $10 award on 1/25. I went to put in my kohls wallet, and it said redeemed.

I called. They said redeemed on 1/9.

I was in the store but I used OLD Kohls cash from prior months that I would use, then return the item, can reissued for 30 days, Id use before expiration, then end up returning again, extending the 30 day life.

I did not use the one I received in January.

again. Not the first time this has happened.

So no, I am not happy.

Gift card

I have called 9 times to try and get my lost gift card. I lost the card in October and I have been trying to get a new gift since October.

I called on October 11, 2024, I called in November three times and I called three times in December. I called in January and February.

Still I have not received a new gift card. I am totally frustrated and ready to cancel my Kohls card and never shop there again.

I figured out that much on my own..

They could have atleast researched the last place it was at. It is probably there, sometimes a label comes off..

ADA Violation and Harassment by Kohl’s Manager at Greenfield, WI Store

On September 19, 2024, I visited the Kohl's store located at 8750 W Sura Ln, Greenfield, WI, with my service dog. From the moment we entered, the store manager, Cam, confronted us, stating that dogs were not allowed in the store.

I immediately informed her that my dog is a service animal, protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which allows service animals in public spaces.

Despite explaining the legal rights of service animals and the fact that no documentation is required for them, Cam insisted that my service dog could not enter, claiming he might relieve himself inside the store. This reasoning is completely unfounded and discriminatory. I informed her of ADA regulations, which clearly allow service animals in public accommodations without the need for additional documentation, but she refused to acknowledge this.

Cam then told me I was only allowed to purchase one item before I would have to leave. My boyfriend, who was with me, located the lipstick I was planning to buy, and as I went to make the purchase, Cam continued to follow us closely throughout the store.

She also filmed us during this time, which felt intimidating and harassing.

The entire encounter made me feel targeted and uncomfortable, especially since I was simply exercising my rights as someone with a service dog. Cams actionsfollowing us and filmingonly made the situation worse. It felt as though she was intentionally trying to intimidate me for standing up for my legal rights.

In the end, I was only able to purchase the one item I needed, which totaled $23.

Is this a genuine trained service dog to assist you with a genuine disability or did you just buy a counterfeit vest and Id card off eBay or Amazon. From the drama your creating on here and apparently at the store also you seem like you have fell physical and mental ability to defend accusations. Perhaps the author of this complaint also uses the handicapped placard from a deceased neighbor?

I believe your APR is excessive.

I just received the Visa card today however, it doesnt indicate this.

My wife holds a Kohls account and we can just use hers.By the way, I am not a pissed customer

I had a simple question about my billing statement and cannot get through to ANYONE. I tried calling multiple numbers and ended up chatting with someone who gave me the same numbers to call.

No help what so ever.

Beyond ridiculous. How does this company stay in business?

User's recommendation: Just be careful, my experience is that Kohl’s used to be a lot more customer oriented but it seems to have drifted away from that corporate mission

Online ordering issues

Repeated issues of all my online orders being cancelled, and 'Sorry we could not complete your purchase and have cancelled' keep recurring. I called them regarding this issue back in June, but it is still ongoing.

Allegedly, they fixed the issue back in June, but it is still ongoing. I called customer service today and the call took more than 30 minutes only to be told that I need to call back another time. Both operators had issues understanding the problem due to a language barrier. Unfortunately, no one would extend the 40% discount due to poor internal management of their system.

To make matters worse, some of the items are already out of stock. I was told on Instagram to go to the store - an idea I wouldn't have thought of.

But, they were out of the sizes I needed which is why I needed to place an order. This is the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced in my life.

Customer service issue

I tried to place an order on line...did not get a order number or confirmation. Text with the virtual " ask me" and was told there was no order on my account and I should reorder.

The next day I got email confirming both orders. Once again went to virtual text which said they couldn't help and I needed to speak with live customer service...about 5 different calls where I got only automated choices and over half an hour of time I finally got a person who did what they could and that was not satisfactory. Kohl's cash of $ 10 after I return the order I was assured never went thru but did has my personal cash for shopping for Christmas tied up and selections for other gifts picked over. I was a CSR for one of your competitors for years.

I never left a customer this unhappy and frustrated. I feel my business isn't important to you and have many other competitive companies to pick from if this is the best you can do.

User's recommendation: I recommend if they have an issue with an online order cancel it immediately yourself abd shop a company who believes in customer satisfaction. I was taught you share a good experience with someone...a bad experience with everyone.
