I took my 4 year old son and 5 year old daughter to our kohls in Lees Summit, MO for new tennis shoes. It was a week night and the store was slow". I literally had to scrounge through 10 to 15 different shoe boxes to find the right size/. Once you find the pair your child likes good luck finding their size, boxes are mislabeled, one shoe in the box is correct the other shoe is another size altogether! We were digging around on the floor for 45 minutes in front of the employee back room?. The one employee we did get to "help" us just stated that all the shoes were out on the shelves and no additional sizes would be found in the back?. We left empty handed, I was trying to spend money in their store but how can you when the department is suchba disaster? The following week I took the kids to Nordstroms and got what they needed:. A very nice sales lady measured their feet, brought the shoes out from the back room, fitted the kids and was friendly to boot;. Two balloons and two happy kids and a relieved mom we left!. The cost of the shoes was the SAME as Kohls! Unlike Kolhs you get something called customer service included with the price of your purchase! Kohls is a rip off/. I won't be wasting my time or money there anymore. 128bbe7

Listen, kohl's doesn't put enough people on the floor to do what you are expecting. I bet you left all those boxes all over the place too. For instance, ONE PERSON may be required to do the fitting rooms for the misses juniors and mens department and THEN recover the entire department all by themselves by the time the store closes. What you want is a high end retail shop like maybe bloomingdales, where you can actually call ahead for a personal shopper. I hope you can afford it though.

For TheKohlsExtraordinare - Why do you have to be so mean and vulgar? The complaint made by Fishstixs did not warrant your trashy comment! You must be admired by so many for your thoughtfulness and colorful language.

I work for another retail outlet? Really, which one? You have no idea what I do so stop trying to waste everyone's time on here and get a life!

Okay, first I thought TheKohlsExtraordinaire worked for Kohl's because of the narrow minded responses posted to several Kohl's complaints. I have now come to the conclusion that TheKohlsExtraordinaire author works for another retail outlet. It is hard to believe that any intelligent person would use such condescending and vulgar language in hopes of attracting customers to Kohls. Seriously, TheKohlsExtraordinaire needs to find something more constructive to do with their time.

Oh give me a break! Kohl's is a "do-it-yourself" store! We are not required to wait on people like you hand and foot! Nor do we get paid commission to have to cater to your every need. It's not the fault of the employees because the departments are trashed and look like cr@p! It's people like yourself who come in and trash the place.

If you have that much money to spend at someplace like Nordstrom, then you shouldn't even be on here being a crybaby about Kohl's!
