Do not order from Kohls.com. I found the same item on another website hours after placing the order on Kohls.com at night. I tried to log into my account on Kohls.com to cancel my order, and it told me I had been locked out due to multiple login attempts. I had tried to log in only once and got this error. So since it was late, I went to bed. First thing the next morning, I tried again and was still unable to log in. So I called their customer service number. Spoke to a woman with a heavy accent and a loud tv on in the background. I was on that phone call for 10 minutes (most of which I waited on hold) to see if she could “price match” my item. When she returned from hold, she told me “no” she couldn’t. She said she would ask for the order to be canceled and would put a note on the order – she did say that the order “might not be able to be canceled.” So why did she tell me she put a note to cancel it???!!! Then she said she would send me a new password so I could log onto my account". She did, and it didn’t work! Then I got an email 10 hours later saying my item was ready to ship/. So I emailed them back and told them the order had been canceled?. This was my reply: "Once your order has moved to Fulfillment status, we are unable to change or cancel the order?." It was not ready to be shipped for 24 hours after placing the order, and I had tried to cancel it several times but due to their mal-functioning website, I couldn't:. I still cannot log into my account, and now I am stuck receiving an order I don’t want:. Of course now I am so lucky to be able to “just return the item at the store” but will still have to pay the shipping and the gas and the time to and from, etc|. Other websites at which I order all the time allow you to cancel an order up to the time when it ships;. So don’t order from Kohls unless you want a big hassle.

Okay, first I thought TheKohlsExtraordinaire worked for Kohl's because of the narrow minded responses posted to several Kohl's complaints. I have now come to the conclusion that TheKohlsExtraordinaire author works for another retail outlet. It is hard to believe that any intelligent person would use such condescending and vulgar language in hopes of attracting customers to Kohls. Seriously, TheKohlsExtraordinaire needs to find something more constructive to do with their time.

The representative on the phone gave you a valid response. When you place an order online it immediately drops into fulfillment. When that happens you cannot cancel the order. This information is clearly displayed on the website, including under the "Customer Service" section of the website as well. All the customer service representative could do was send a message to the fulfillment center where your order was being shipped from informing them that you have chosen to cancel the order in the hopes that they get it time before shipping your order. There is no guarantee that the fulfillment centers are going to get the message in time considering they are working hard to box up and ship thousands of orders each day.

You can return your item(s) to any Kohl's store. However, we are not going to pay for your gas and any pain and suffering you think you may have received.

The password is case sensitive and I think it's required to have 1 cap letter. I've had problems with it before I realized that. Every time I forgot it I just clicked forgot password and was emailed a new one. Then I was able to just copy and paste it and not worry about typing it correctly.

I shop online a lot and with every site you can not cancel after fulfillment status has been reached. It would be impossible to stop an item right up to the shipping point. Someone's already playing Tetris with the box in the back of the truck at that point.

If the women said it “might not be able to be canceled” then why did you say it was definitely canceled 10 hours later? And why wouldn't you want her to put a note on just in case?

And are you really complaining about an accent? You realize that most of the world doesn't speak English, right?
